We just celebrated 4 wonderful years together! I know four years is really not very long, but we sure do love being married to each other. We really are a perfect match. One of us is super emotional and adds spice to the relationship while the other calms things down and keeps us sane. Can you guess which one is which??? You just might be surprised!
Jonny planned a nice and relaxing day for us to enjoy together. He surprised me by staying home from work, which I always love. The extra help is greatly appreciated. He also gave me gorgeous flowers that matched the one from our wedding. Smart guy. After nap time we dropped Chase off at Grandpa Jim's and we went out for a late lunch. I have been wanting to go to Chipotle Grill for such a long time. It always smelled so good when I drove by during work. And there was usually a long line - a good sign! So we went and had ginormous burritos and got to take some home for later. It was good, but I don't think I'll be driving across town for a burrito again anytime soon. Then we went for a little walk to enjoy the warm sun. After a while we decided to relieve Grandpa from his babysitting duties. The day ended with chocolate and sparkling cider. Yum!
What a great life we have! Four years down and an eternity to go! Love you!

Yes, we are still alive. Don't worry. We've just been busy and haven't been taking nearly enough photos and video. We need to get on that. Chase is doing lots of new things that we need to document. .....Stay tuned..... Just to let you know what we've been up to... We are still running, and still considering whether or not we are crazy for signing up for this marathon. Chase is just as cute as ever, if not cuter. He loves to play catch and to play with cars. He likes to tell us to "stop it!"... I wonder where he got that from. He says "please" and "thank you", which is always nice to hear. And he has started to say prayers for us. Usually he just goes along and waits for us to say a prayer but today at lunch he wanted to give it a try. Of course, I helped him out a little and he did a great job! I can't wait for Jonny to come home tonight so he can see it for himself. Our friends Matt and Andrea Hess stopped by for an overnight visit. They were on their way back home to Utah and it was great to have them. Their little boy Jack got along great with Chase and they were sad to part. :( And Chase loved the baby. He just wanted to give him kisses. (I'll post pictures of their visit when they email them to us *hint, hint*) It was a great visit, but way too short. Maybe we can visit them when they move to Hawaii? I'm crossing my fingers! I think that's all that's been happening lately. We're just living life like usual and trying to have lots of fun together! Again, if you want more specifics on what little Chaser has been up to make sure to visit his blog doitasidoit.blogspot.com Take care! Love, the Porters

We moved!!! We are back on the "east side", which is both happy and sad. We are close to family and friends now, which is always a good thing. But, now Jonny has that dreadful commute again. Blah. You might be wondering why we moved... Didn't we just move across town like 6 months ago? Yes. And didn't we vow to not move back out here, in an effort to avoid a long commute? Yes. But, here we are. We were offered an apartment manager position with a small complex and a great deal. We just couldn't pass it up! Anybody looking to move out to our side of town? We could hook you up! And we could give you moving tips.... this was our 5th move together.... in 3 1/2 years! Ridiculous, right? So now that we are settled in we can start taking pictures again... we'll post some soon. And don't forget to check out Chase's blog to catch up on all his cuteness. doitasidoit.blogspot.com (It's a private blog, but we can send you login info if you're interested).
